Data around the world series

Which countries are well placed to innovate? Which governments are balancing economic growth with protecting the privacy rights and freedoms of their citizens?
In our new series of articles, we’ll take a quick look at what’s going on around the globe and how certain regions may be well placed to create (rather than just surf on) the next big data wave. Pack your bags and let’s go!
Up first, Eastern Europe.
